The Giving Programs Manager oversees individual, corporate, prospective, and other gift programs for People’s. This position is responsible for implementing multiple fundraising appeals, maintaining accurate data and gift processing systems, analyzing data and generating reports. We seek a creative, detail-oriented, people-person who enjoys a creative and fast-paced working environment.

 

The starting Salary range for this position is between $55,000 - $60,000 annually. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple fundraising programs through strategies including written appeals, events, personalized donor contact, education on the clinic’s mission, and creation of other meaningful opportunities.
  • Oversee the donor database, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data, establishing and maintaining systems for gift entry.
  • Develop and maintain efficient systems for data entry, gift processing, data hygiene, mailing list management, donor and prospect research, and donor stewardship.
  • Analyze effectiveness of fundraising campaigns, help establish and track goals.
  • Assist with budget planning and monthly reporting.
  • Develop and implement strategies for acquiring and retaining donors through an efficient and effective stewardship program.
  • Foster new workplace giving and retail partnerships and maintain existing relationships.
  • Maintain clinic listings on donor reference sites such as the BBB, Charity Navigator, and GuideStar
  • Identify opportunities to improve work flow and processes and procedures and work cooperatively to implement these and other quality improvements.
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

Education: 

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • College degree in a related field preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum five years' experience in development, including managing a complex database
  • Demonstrated success in annual giving, preferably in a non-profit community-based organization

 

Certificate/License:  None

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  

  • Advanced working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge software preferred.
  • Strong technical skills and advanced experience with Blackbaud products, MailChimp, and
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Working knowledge of fundraising principles and online giving best practices and current trends.
  • Excellent time management skills and a high degree of organization, careful attention to detail, ability to multitask and to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to work as a collaborative team member.
  • Commitment to create a positive work environment and positive reactions to change and conflict resolution.
  • Commitment to maintain confidentiality and a high degree of accuracy with donor records.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
