Education:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- College degree in a related field preferred.
Experience:
- Two years of experience working in a physician’s office or healthcare facility is required.
- Two to four years of supervisory experience is required.
- Experience with physician billing and/or insurance preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Basic computer literacy, including spreadsheet applications, Microsoft applications, etc.
- Working knowledge of electronic medical records and practice management systems.
- Supervisory and time management skills.
- Problem identification and resolution skills.
- Flexible, self-directed team player.
- Able to prioritize and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines; able to function autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
