The Medical Assistant supports the mission of People's Community Clinic by helping ensure that patients are served in a manner that enhances their dignity and welfare and that clinic resources are used efficiently and in accordance with PCC policies and risk management protocols.
This position works as a member of a care team to coordinate patient care and support patients and families in self-management, self-efficacy and behavior change. Care team members are expected to assess and manage the health needs of the patient population and to communicate effectively with all patients, especially vulnerable populations.

Compensation: $22.00 - $25.25 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule: Monday- Friday: 7:45am-5:00pm. This position requires employee to work at least one evening clinic per week (Monday, Wednesday or Thursday), the schedule will be adjusted to 11:45am-8:00pm in place of the standard day time schedule. Other schedules may be consider based on operational needs.

Education: High School Diploma/GED
Experience: Successful completion of MA externship

Certificate/License:
Certification must be completed within the first 90 days of employment and may be reimbursed by PCC.
